History was made on May 27, 2011, in British Columbia, when Isabelle Beisiegel made it through Q-School to earn non-exempt status on the Canadian Tour. A woman golfer now has status on a "men's tour." This is the first time that's happened.
Congrats to Beisiegel, who has had years of frustration trying to player her way into men's tournaments, while also (sorry to be blunt) failing to make a mark in women's golf. She's also been through some health issues that interrupted her career. She perservered, kept fighting, and now she's accomplished something that had never been done before. Good job, Izzy!
